This is my first attempt at painting a Marine of the Emperor's Children Legion.
As I wrote in my journal:
[link] I've been getting motivated to paint more models and to try and keep me motivated I set myself this task. It starts of well with the first model finished yesterday and an Imperial Fist Marine being underway! After that I'm thinking of a Dark Angel and a Iron Warrior...

EDIT: After showing this to a budy of mine he gave me the advice to add the Legion symbol on his shoulder pad.. So I did.. For my first attempt at freehanding that symbol I can't say I dislike the result :D

bit of a shame he's in post-heresy armour. There's plastics available for Mk5 & 6, if you choose the parts carefully.

I'm not a big fan of the 'older' armour. I really prefer Mk 7.

Haha the First Legion is high on my list no doubt! Trying to spread the Legions I REALLY want too paint though.. Shouldn't be too long hopefully. I just uploaded the picture of an Imperial Fists, busy on a War Hound/World Eater now and after this it will be either Ultramarine or Dark Angel!
